China (Sichuan) - Uzbekistan International Commodity Fair Concludes

On August 23, the China (Sichuan) - Uzbekistan International Commodity Fair concluded in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Themed "Join Hands for a Shared Silk Road Future," the event attracted over 3,000 merchants from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries, with on-site signed and intended cooperation agreements totaling CNY 420 million. The fair covered an area of 5,000 square meters and featured three specialized exhibition zones: "Mechanical Equipment," "Digital Economy," and "Service Trade." More than 100 Chinese enterprises showcased their flagship products, highlighting Sichuan’s advanced technologies and products in mechanical equipment, high-end building materials, smart manufacturing, and other fields.

Sichuan Pavilion Debuts at the 15th China-Northeast Asia Expo

On August 27, the 15th China-Northeast Asia Expo opened in Changchun. Sichuan Province set up the Sichuan Pavilion under the theme "Collaborative Innovation, Openness, and Win-Win Cooperation," focusing on key industries such as healthcare and smart manufacturing. The pavilion featured over 40 exhibits from 19 enterprises, showcasing Sichuan’s innovative practices and industrial strength in healthcare and smart manufacturing. It presented a comprehensive and multi-dimensional display of Sichuan’s development momentum as a national strategic hinterland and its new stance of high-level openness.

Sichuan Pavilion Debuts at the 7th China-Arab States Expo

On August 28, the 7th China-Arab States Expo opened in Yinchuan. Themed "Innovation, Green Development, and Prosperity," this year’s China-Arab Expo hosted over 40 events, including exhibitions, trade and investment project matchmaking, and negotiations. More than 7,600 guests from 75 countries and regions, along with over 2,200 representatives from business associations and enterprises across China, participated in the event. Sichuan Province, under the theme "Sichuan’s Future, Boundless Smart Manufacturing," organized 16 enterprises, including Sichuan Dongfang Electric, to showcase over 20 exhibits.

Sichuan’s Key Projects Exceed 70% of Annual Investment Target in First Seven Months This Year

From January to July this year, Sichuan’s 810 key provincial projects completed an investment of RMB 584.47 billion, achieving 73.8% of the annual investment target. By sector, 280 infrastructure projects completed an investment of RMB 244.69 billion, reaching 70.3% of the annual target; 445 industrial projects completed an investment of RMB 310.1 billion, achieving 76.9% of the annual target; 61 livelihood and social welfare projects completed an investment of RMB 21.16 billion, reaching 74.1% of the annual target; and 24 ecological and environmental protection projects completed an investment of RMB 8.53 billion, achieving 72.5% of the annual target.
