Renowned Foreign Medical Device Companies Visit Sichuan Exchange Symposium Held in Chengdu

On March 5, the Sichuan Provincial Economic Cooperation Bureau, in collaboration with the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, hosted a 'Renowned Foreign Medical Device Companies Visit Sichuan' Exchange Symposium in Chengdu. Representatives from 19 globally recognized foreign medical device companies, including Johnson &Johnson, Abbott, and Siemens Healthineers, attended the meeting. During the symposium, the Provincial Healthcare Security Bureau interpreted relevant healthcare policies and addressed the concerns of the enterprises on-site. Economic cooperation departments from Chengdu, Luzhou, Mianyang, Guang'an, and Ziyang exchanged views on the development advantages and opportunities in their local medical and health industries. Representatives from the European Union Chamber of Commerce and foreign companies shared their development experiences in Sichuan and expressed positive prospects for future investments in the province.

Meishan Holds Meeting to Strive for a Strong Start in 2025

Recently, Meishan held its first project investment inspection and key industrial chain enhancement promotion meeting for 2025, aiming to achieve a strong start to the year. According to the released "List of Key Projects in Meishan for 2025," the city has 266 key projects planned for the new year, with a total investment of CNY 228.46 billion, an increase of 34 projects and CNY 30.51 billion compared to the previous year. During the major project promotion event in the first quarter, Meishan commenced 120 projects with a total investment of CNY 49.2 billion.

Mianyang Won a CNY 4-Billion Worth New Display Major Project Again

On March 6, Mianyang's new display industry welcomed another significant project—the 12-inch Micro OLED (Silicon-based Organic Light Emitting Diode) semiconductor micro-display industrialization project by SIDTEK Technology, with a total investment of CNY 4 billion, officially signed and settled in Mianyang High-Tech Zone. During the centralized signing event for SIDTEK Technology and a series of projects in Mianyang Science City, Mianyang High-Tech Zone signed six projects, each with an investment exceeding CNY 500 million, totaling CNY 8.1 billion. The other signed industrial projects are closely aligned with Mianyang's focus on developing emerging industries, including low-altitude economy and new energy sectors, with several projects boasting leading technological advantages.
