Sichuan Delegation Attends the 6th China-Arab States Expo

On September 21st, the 6th China-Arab States Expo opened in Yinchuan, Ningxia. Hui Chaoxu, the Director of the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation, led the Sichuan delegation to participate in the exhibition and promotion activities. This year's Expo is themed "New Era, New Opportunities and New Future." Sichuan Province set up a pavilion with the theme "Sichuan Goes Global and Creates the Future," divided into three exhibition areas: "Open Sichuan," "Intelligent Sichuan," and "Comfortable Sichuan." On the morning of the 22nd, the Expo's projects signing ceremony was held, and Guangyuan City was invited to attend and sign on stage. During their stay in Yinchuan, the delegation also visited and inspected Wuzhong Instument Co., Ltd. and Yili Dairy Co., Ltd., and carried out relevant investment promotion activities.

Director (China) of Enterprise Singapore Visits the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation 

On September 19th, Ye Qingwen, the Director (China) of Enterprise Singapore, visited the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation for exchange and communication. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on further innovation of cooperation platforms, enriching cooperation mechanisms, and expanding cooperation areas. Singapore is an important trading partner of Sichuan and also the second-largest source of foreign investment in Sichuan. Data shows that as of the end of 2022, Singapore has established 737 foreign-invested enterprises (institutions) in Sichuan, with a total foreign direct investment of USD 4.18 billion. In 2022, the bilateral trade volume between the two places was USD 2.69 billion, an increase of 38.9%. Among them, exports were USD 2.161 billion, an increase of 56.1%, and foreign direct investment (FDI) was USD 194 million.

"Made in Deyang" Geothermal Products Showcased at the 2023 World Geothermal Congress

On September 17th, the 2023 World Geothermal Congress ended in Beijing. This was the first time that China hosted this international event. The Congress was themed "Green Geothermal, Clean Earth," and more than 1,400 guests from 54 countries attended the event. Some of the geothermal products from Deyang's Dongfang Turbine Co., Ltd. were showcased during the Congress.

2023 Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair Opens in Chengdu

On September 20th, the 2023 Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair opened in Chengdu. The conference was themed "Creating and Revitalizing Chengdu City with Intelligence and Building a Strong City," and was held in a "1+4+N" framework, including 13 events such as the opening ceremony, industry chain innovation and application exhibition, and the 2023 National Cosmic Industry Innovation and Development Summit. The conference set up an exhibition of innovative products related to the industry chain, with more than 80 innovative products from over 30 companies on display.
