On September 8, the Roundtable Meeting of Sichuan Foreign-funded Enterprises was held in Xiamen City. The meeting strengthened communication between Sichuan Province and foreign-funded enterprises. The guests expressed their affirmation of Sichuan's favorable investment environment and the level of services for foreign-funded enterprises, and put forward pertinent suggestions for Sichuan to accelerate the creation of an international first-class business environment. In the next step, Sichuan will take the initiative to meet the standard and continue to promote greater efforts to attract foreign investment.

Sichuan's Foreign Trade Import and Export Exceeded CNY 600 Billion in the First 8 Months

According to Chengdu Customs statistics, in the first eight months of 2023, Sichuan's trade in goods import and export value reached CNY 602.29 billion. The scale continues to rank 8th in the country, with exports of CNY 382.68 billion and imports of CNY 219.61 billion. This year, Sichuan enterprises have increased the development of emerging markets and expanded foreign trade channels, and the foreign trading market in Sichuan has become more diversified. In the first 8 months, Sichuan's import and export to and from "Belt and Road" countries amounted to CNY 254.8 billion, accounting for 42.3% of the total value.

Neijiang was Honored as China's Investment Hotspot City

On September 8, the opening ceremony of the 23rd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) was held in Xiamen, Fujian. At the CIFIT, Neijiang City, thanks to its excellence in industrial foundation, growth potential, and investment environment, was successfully awarded as China's investment hotspot city in 2023, and it is the only city in Sichuan Province to be awarded with this honor this year. In recent years, Neijiang City has achieved fruitful results in attracting investments, successfully introducing more than 200 projects with each project reaching an investment value of over CNY 500 million.

Yibin Signed 31 Projects Worth CNY 11.903 Billion at the 2023 International Bamboo Industry Expo

Recently, the 2023 International Bamboo Industry Expo and the Investment Promotion Conference of the 4th China (Yibin) International Bamboo Industry Development Conference were held in Yibin. During the Investment Promotion Conference, Yibin signed 10 bamboo industry projects, with a contract amount of CNY 5.533 billion. Throughout the 2023 International Bamboo Industry Expo, Yibin signed a total of 31 projects, with a contract amount of CNY 11.903 billion.
