The First 10 Months of Sichuan’s Import and Export Trade Reached CNY 769.51 Billion

Recently, Chengdu Customs released data showing that the first 10 months of Sichuan import and export trade value reached CNY 769.51 billion, and the scale ranked eighth in the country. Among them, exports stood at CNY 481.61 billion, imports at CNY 287.9 billion. Since August, the scale of imports and exports in Sichuan continued to expand. The imports and exports in October arrived at CNY 87.96 billion, an increase of 2.2%, and it has been three consecutive months to maintain growth. In the first 10 months, Sichuan's import and export to countries co-building the "Belt and Road" reached CNY 326.37 billion, up 6.6% year-on-year, accounting for 42.4% of Sichuan's total import and export value in the same period; CNY 44.09 billion for imports and exports in Australia, an increase of 74.3% year-on-year; and CNY 30.17 billion for Africa's imports and exports, an increase of 42.8% year-on-year.

"Sichuan-made” Goods Entered the 7th Silk Road International Expo

On November 16, the 7th Silk Road International Expo and ITFCEW (Investment and Trade Fair of China East-West) opened in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Sichuan Province set up the Sichuan Pavilion under the theme "Sichuan Travels the World - Creating the Future Together", with three exhibition areas: "Open Sichuan", "Manufacturing Sichuan", "Sichuan Goods Out of Sichuan". More than 30 enterprises participated in the exhibition, showcasing more than 70 physical exhibits. The efforts aim to promote the "Sichuan Enterprises Out of Sichuan - Famous Goods Out of Country" to achieve practical results. On the site, the "Made in Sichuan" pavilion has a dazzling performance. It focused on electronic information, equipment manufacturing, advanced materials and other industries, displaying high-quality products made in Sichuan, such as "ZEEKR X" car, Volvo XC60 car, and 4K home telephoto projector of XGIMI Technology, which set up a platform for enterprises to strengthen industrial cooperation.

2023 Tianfu Digital Economy Summit Held in Chengdu

On November 16, 2023 Tianfu Digital Economy Summit was held in Chengdu, focusing on the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, digital empowerment of economic and social transformation and development and other topics for exchange and discussion. The summit released 15 excellent cases of Sichuan digital and real integration of innovation and practice, as well as the Tianfu Digital Economy Index, and held a signing ceremony of Sichuan arithmetic scheduling service ecological cooperation. Moreover, Sichuan Digital Economy Research Center and other units jointly released the Sichuan Arithmetic Application Blue Book.
