Completion of Airbus Aircraft Lifecycle Services Project

On September 28th, the Airbus Aircraft Lifecycle Service Project was completed in Chengdu and is expected to go into operation in December. The Airbus Aircraft Lifecycle Service Project is the only aircraft recycling project operated by an aircraft manufacturer in the world, and is the first aircraft lifecycle service project of Airbus outside Europe. With a total investment of CNY 6 billion, this project will mainly carry out aircraft parking and storage, aircraft subleasing and resumption of operations requiring upgrading and modification services, aircraft fuselage repair and maintenance, aircraft dismantling services, passenger-to-freight conversion services, as well as the management and trade of second-hand aircraft and usable aircraft materials, among other businesses. 

Sichuan Opens the First "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" TIR International Cross-border Road Cargo Transportation Route

On September 26th, two container trucks loaded with Yibin tea and hanging the TIR logo plate, drove out of Yibin Port International Container Terminal after completing the TIR inspection, document endorsement and regulatory sealing by Yibin Customs. This marks the official opening of Sichuan's first "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" TIR international cross-border road freight rout. TIR is the Convention on International Road Transport, and the TIR system is a global facilitation customs system in the field of international cross-border freight transport based on the UN Convention. The 42-ton shipment will leave the border from the Irkeshtam port in Xinjiang, pass through Kyrgyzstan, and is expected to arrive in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in eight days.

Sichuan-Chongqing Food Industry Investment Cooperation and Exchange Meeting Successfully Held

On September 27th, the Sichuan-Chongqing Food Industry Investment Cooperation and Exchange Conference was successfully held in Chongqing with the theme of "Accelerating the Gathering of Food Industry and Assisting the Economic Development of Sichuan and Chongqing". The meeting was organized by the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation and the Chongqing Office of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, and attracted more than 150 leaders of leading enterprises in the industry, including Jingdong Group and Yonghui Superstores. Hui Chaoxu, the Director of the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation, said in his speech that, Sichuan, a large agricultural province, with major strategic overlap, huge market potential, rich agricultural resources, a strong industrial base, strong policy support, has unique comparative advantages for its food industry development. Sichuan (Xiamen) Food Industry Investment Seminar Held

Recently, Sichuan (Xiamen) Food Industry Investment Seminar was held in Xiamen. It was organized by the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation and the Chongqing Office of the People's Government of Sichuan Province. This seminar well-planned and well-organized activities concentrating on the aspects such as"Building an industrial cooperation platform, achieving complementary industrial advantages, focusing on accurate docking negotiations, promoting industrial integration of investment, helping Sichuan enterprises and Sichuan products go out of Sichuan" and others, aiming at further promoting the characteristics of Sichuan and Fujian Province for advantageous industrial cooperation, expanding the Sichuan sales channels of agricultural and sideline products, and promoting the Fujian food enterprises to invest and prosper in Sichuan. This seminar selected the Sichuan products from more than 10 well-known local brands like Shui Jing Fang, Shede Wine and Mi Cangshan Tea, to join the Xiamen exhibition, and they attracted a number of Xiamen purchasing enterprises and industry association representatives for the business talks, and reached relevant investment and cooperation intentions.
