Sichuan's GDP in First Three Quarters of 2023 Reached CNY 4338.70 Billion, Increasing by 6.5% Year-on-Year

On October 19, The Press Conference on Sichuan's Economic Situation in the first three quarters of 2023 was held. The conference announced that the first three quarters of Sichuan's GDP were CNY 4338.70 billion, up by 6.5% year-on-year. Among them, the added value of the primary industry was CNY 494.70 billion, an increase of 3.8%; the added value of the secondary industry was CNY 1522.04 billion, an increase of 5.8%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was CNY 2323.76 billion, an increase of 7.7%.

On October 19th, the Sichuan Province National Promotion of Introducing "Tianfu Granary" Boutique Products to Zhejiang was held in Hangzhou. There are 51 enterprises and trade associations, a total of 65 people participating in the meeting. On the promotion, Sichuan boutique enterprises and Zhejiang buyers signed 17 purchase contracts, with the cumulative contract amount reaching more than CNY 800 million. Recently, as the largest industrial project in the history of industrial investment in Dongxing District of Neijiang City (with a total investment of about CNY 7.1 billion), the first phase of Neijiang Rongtong Lithium Battery Anode Material Project has been put into full production. The products of the project are widely used in new energy vehicles, electric power energy storage and 5G communication energy storage system. It is expected that the annual output value will reach CNY 10 billion, tax revenue will be about CNY 350 million, and jobs will be created for more than 1,600 people.
