Sichuan Issued the Three-year Action Plan for Bamboo Industry Improvement 

Recently, the General Office of the People’s Government of Sichuan Province issued the Sichuan Province Three-year Action Plan for Bamboo Industry Improvement(2023-2025) (Hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan), which puts forward a total of 19 specific measures in 7 areas. The Action Plan specifies the construction goals which are to have 80 newly recognized provincial-level modern bamboo industry bases, 5 provincial-level modern bamboo industrial parks, 3 provincial-level high-quality bamboo industry development countries during the year of 2023-2025. By 2025, the province's modern bamboo industry base area will reach out to 12 million mu, the total production capacity of bamboo pulp will arrive at 2.5 million tons, bamboo shoots processing capacity will exceed 1.2 million tons, and the total output value of the bamboo industry will be CNY 120 billion.

Sichuan has Operated More Than 300 International Trains on the China-Laos Railway

Since the official operation of the China-Laos Railway in December 2021, Sichuan Province has deeply promoted cooperation with cities and prefectures in Sichuan Province, an effort to make sure China-Laos trains flourish in every corner of the province. Up to now, the province has organized more than 300 China-Laos international trains. Compared with the previous way of sea-and-rail joint transportation, the China-Laos Railway can save at least 15 days. The China-Laos Railway has greatly strengthened economic and trade cooperation between Laos and Sichuan. In 2022, the total import and export volume between Sichuan and Laos increased by 154%.

16 Major Projects of “Boosting Industry Ecosystem and Strengthening Supply Chain” Landed in Chengdu Longquanyi District

On October 13, the signing ceremony of the 2023 Chengdu Longquanyi District major projects of  “Boosting Industry Ecosystem and Strengthening Supply Chain” was held in Dong'an Lake Art Center. During the event, 16 key projects were signed, with a total investment of CNY 19.533 billion, covering a variety of fields such as new energy vehicles, intelligent network, culture and tourism, modern commerce and trade. These projects will further play a strong chain role, to accumulate greater momentum, inject surging power into Chengdu Longquanyi District in "Post FISU World University Games Era" for its industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as high-quality development of its economy.

21 Well-known Swiss Enterprises Came to Ziyang to Seek Business Opportunities
