647 Projects Signed in the Well-Known Chinese and Foreign Enterprises' Visit to Sichuan in 2021 with a Total Investment of 647.6 Billion Yuan

On May 29, Well-known Chinese and Foreign Enterprises’ Visit to Sichuan in 2021 Investment Promotion Conference and Project Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony were held. During the event, Sichuan signed 647 projects with domestic and foreign investors, with a total amount of 647.557 billion yuan, involving electronic information, equipment manufacturing, new materials, new energy, elderly care and health, and cultural and sports tourism as well as other fields.

It is reported that the second-class industrial projects and the third-class industrial projects accounted for 64.5% and 31.9% of the contracted investment amount respectively. These industrial projects involve electronic information, equipment manufacturing, food and beverage, advanced materials, energy and chemical industries.

In terms of the nature of funds, there are 47 state-owned projects with an investment amount of 56.896 billion yuan, accounting for about 8.8%; 577 privately-owned projects with an investment amount of 554.597 billion yuan, accounting for about 85.6%; 23 foreign-funded projects with an investment amount of 36.06 billion yuan, accounting for about 5.6%. In this event, both the quantity and quality of scientific and technological innovation projects have been improved compared with last year. There are 19 intelligent equipment projects were signed with an investment of 28.1 billion yuan, as well as 19 new energy and intelligent vehicle projects with an investment of 56.52 billion yuan and 18 science and technology information service projects with an investment of 17.071 billion yuan.

Nearly 1000 guests from over 700 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises, business associations and institutions were presented in this event.
