Chengdu Eastern New Area

Chengdu Eastern New Area was officially established in May 2020, with a management area of 870 square kilometers. The area has transportation advantages, with Tianfu International Airport and the railway hub of Chengdu Eastern New Area. Located in the main axis of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and the core area of the Chengdu-Deyang-Meishan-Ziyang border zone, it is a national airport gateway open to the west and the south, a brand-new engine for the collaborative development of Chengdu and Chongqing, an industrial new city that leads the development of the new economy, and a site in eastern Chengdu that highlights Tianfu culture. It focuses on developing the core part of airport industry, advanced manufacturing industry and extended industry of aviation economy. So far, the area has signed contracts and introduced more than 60 major industrialization projects such as Alibaba, SVOLT Energy, SF Express and GLP. In 2021, it ranked first in CCID's "Top 50 National New District's 'Five New' Potential List 2021" and was awarded "2021 China's Top 10 Industrial Parks with the Most Investment Value" by Global Times.

Key industries: intelligent manufacturing, aviation economy, headquarters economy, modern logistics, bio-medicine will be emphasized.
