Nanchong Linjiang New Area

Sichuan Provincial People's Government officially approved the establishment of Nanchong Linjiang New Area in July 2020, with a planned area of 398 square kilometers and a permanent population of 340,000. In 2021, its regional GDP was 19.5 billion yuan. The new area includes two national-level industrial parks, namely Nanchong Modern Logistics Park and Sino-French Agricultural Science and Technology Park, as well as three provincial-level industrial parks, namely Sichuan Nanchong High-tech Industrial Park, Sichuan Nanchong Airport Economic Development Zone, and Sichuan Xichong Economic Development Zone, among which the establishment of Nanchong High-tech Industrial Park has been included in the national cultivation sequence. The area operates two open platforms: Nanchong Collaborative Reform Pilot Zone of China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and Nanchong Bonded Logistics Center (Type B). The area's planned construction land size is about 120 square kilometers, developing in accordance with the goals of "new industrial city, innovation center, open highland, and new urban area." There are currently 132 industrial enterprises above designated size in the park, with a focus on three leading industries: auto parts, electronic information, and high-end equipment.
