Mianyang Economic and Technological Development Zone

Mianyang Economic and Technological Development Zone has jurisdiction over Tangxun Street and Songya Town, with a population of 210,000 and an area of 65 square kilometers, including 45 square kilometers under the urban regulatory plan and 26 square kilometers under the built-up area. It is an excellent industrial park in Sichuan Province, a new industrial demonstration base in Sichuan Province, and a pilot zone in the construction of ecological industrial parks in Sichuan Province. In 2021, it achieved a regional GDP of 11.255 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.8%, and a total industrial output value of 18.769 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 24.7%.
