Chengdu Hi-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Shuangliu Area 

Chengdu Hi-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone: The project of building Chengdu Hi-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone was approved by the State Council in October 2010. Chengdu Hi-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone was established by merging the former Chengdu Export Processing Zone and Chengdu Bonded Logistics Center and was officially put into operation on May 25, 2011. It covers a planned area of 4.68 square kilometers. In 2021, it realized the import-export volume of CNY 499.2 billion (excluding Shuangliu Park), with a year-on-year growth of 3.2 percent, accounting for 52 percent of the total import - export volume of Sichuan. 

Shuangliu Area: In January 2012, the State Council approved the establishment of Shuangliu Park as part of the expansion of Chengdu High-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone, which is also the first comprehensive bonded zone approved for expansion by the state. It is located on Gongxing Street in Shuangliu District and is an important part of Tianfu New Area, covering an area of 4 square kilometers. In 2021, the park's industrial output value reached CNY 92.2 billion, a 66 percent increase; the total volume of foreign trade reached CNY 82.7 billion, a 27 percent increase, ranking the park 23rd among the regions under special customs supervision. According to the results of the 2020 Performance Assessment Report for the Development of Comprehensive Bonded Zones released by the General Administration of Customs, Chengdu Hi-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone (including Shuangliu Park) claimed the first spot in terms of performance among the 121 national comprehensive bonded zones.

Chengdu International Railway Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone

On December 20, 2019, the Chengdu International Railway Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone was approved and officially put into operation on January 28, 2021. With a planning area of 1.03 square kilometers, it is located in Chengdu Qingbaijiang International Railway Port, focusing on developing intelligent home appliances, logistics intelligent equipment, computer peripherals bonded processing, and other advanced manufacturing industry, as well as supporting the development of international trade such as cross-border electronic commerce and bulk commodities for Europe by railway, bonded logistics such as parallel-import cars and auto parts, and bonded service such as mechanical and electrical inspection and maintenance, bonded exhibition of artworks, and international settlement. It aims to build into an export-oriented industrial cluster of the Belt and Road Initiative to meet the needs of opening up of the Eurasian Landbridge and New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.

Mianyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone 

The Mianyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone was approved by the State Council on April 27, 2020, and it went into operation on January 28, 2021. With a planned area of 0.14 square kilometers in Mianyang High-tech Zone, it focuses on the development of processing and manufacturing represented by the electronic information industry, R&D and design represented by high-tech and strategic emerging industries, and sales services represented by cross-border e-commerce. 

Key industries: bonded processing, bonded research  and development, bonded logistics, sales services will be emphasized.

Luzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone 

The establishment of the Luzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone was approved on December 20, 2019, and it went into operation on January 28, 2021. With a planned area of one square kilometer, it is located in the South Sichuan Lingang Area of China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, relying on the superposition advantages of open platforms such as the Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone, as well as the advantages of a comprehensive transportation hub of "water, railway, and air", focusing on cultivating and developing bonded processing businesses such as electronic information, high-end textiles, new materials, food and medicine, bulk commodities bonded logistics business for auto parts, plastic particles, rare earths, and bonded service businesses such as cross-border e-commerce, bonded maintenance, and supply chain services.

Key industries: electronic information, high-end textile, new materials, food and medicine, international trade will be emphasized.

Yibin Comprehensive Bonded Zone

The establishment of the Yibin Comprehensive Bonded Zone was approved on December 20, 2019, and put into operation on January 28, 2021. It is located in The Sanjiang New Area of Yibin, adjacent to Yibin Port, the transfer hub port of the Yangtze River's main branch, and has a planned area of 0.89 square kilometers. It has the location advantage of the port-city model, as well as the transportation advantage of seamless connections by rail, highway, waterway, and air transportation. It is an opportunity for Yibin to deepen its opening and cooperation with the outside world, to focus on strategic emerging industries, and to develop an export-oriented economy, developing three major industries including bonded logistics, bonded processing and bonded R&D, and accelerating the construction of five centers concerning processing and manufacturing, logistics distribution, R&D and design, testing and maintenance, and sales and service.

Chengdu High-tech Xiyuan Comprehensive Bonded Zone 

Chengdu High-tech Xiyuan Comprehensive Bonded Zone was approved for establishment on October 4, 2018, and went into operation on September 21, 2020. It is located in the western park of Chengdu High-tech Zone, with a planned area of 1.39 square kilometers. It has built an standard integrated circuit factory of 420,000 square meters, dominated by integrated circuit wafer manufacturing industry, with standard factory building of integrated circuits as the carrier, forming benign interaction of electronic information industry with Chengdu High-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone, focusing on the advantageous industries of integrated circuits and new-type displays. It strives to expand and strengthen the industrial chain of integrated circuit R&D and design, wafer manufacturing, packaging and testing, and jointly create a complete integrated circuit industry ecosystem. In 2021, the total import and export volume reached about 2.67841 billion yuan.
