The China (Sichuan) - Austria Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference was successfully held in Vienna

On September 19th, the China (Sichuan) - Austria Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference, jointly hosted by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Sichuan Provincial Economic Cooperation Bureau, and Sichuan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, was held in Vienna, the world music capital. This event attracted more than 70 representatives from Chinese and Austrian government agencies, enterprises, and business associations, setting up a new channel for Austrian enterprises to get to know about Sichuan and invest in Sichuan, which widens the development and expands more investment possibilities.

At the meeting, the Sichuan Provincial Economic Cooperation Bureau made a special presentation on investment cooperation opportunities, introducing Sichuan's advantages in terms of industrial foundation, scientific and educational strength, comprehensive transportation, market potential, and business environment. It invited well-known Austrian enterprises to strengthen cooperation in equipment manufacturing, electronic information, cultural tourism, and other areas, create a complete industrial chain, share development opportunities, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. In addition, representatives of Austrian companies such as 3CON Company, Andritz Company, AVL List GmbH, and Doka Company, as well as representatives of Sichuan companies such as Wuliangye Company, Sichuan Commercial Investment, and Huaxi Group, have spoken and shared their personal experiences of mutual benefit and win-win investment cooperation in Sichuan. They hope to further strengthen the supporting industrial and supply chains and promote more cooperation in new quality productivity in the next step.

At the Sichuan &Austrian Enterprises Cooperation Event held after the conference, Huaxi Group signed cooperation agreements with Austria Infrared City Co., Ltd., Ya'an Economic Cooperation &Foreign Affairs Bureau signed with the Austria-China Friendship Association, and Sichuan International Travel Service signed with Austria-China Travel Agency to deepen cooperation and achieve win-win results in clean energy, food and beverage, cultural tourism, and other areas. Wuliangye Group, Yixing Tea Company, and other Chinese enterprises held exhibitions for exchanges.

The purpose of this event is to deepen the implementation and actively integrate into the "Invest in China" strategy of the Ministry of Commerce of China, comprehensively promote Sichuan’s great potential in development, industrial investment opportunities, and economic and trade cooperation advantages of Sichuan, as well as to attract more Austrian enterprises to invest or set up businese in Sichuan, which will in return makes it more popular to "Invest in Sichuan", further consolidate the cooperation foundation between Sichuan and Austria, and inject new momentum into the development of New Productivity Force and the promotion of high-quality economic development in Sichuan.
