Sichuan Releases List of 157 Major Cultural Industry Projects with Investment Exceeding RMB 130 billion

On May 25, during the 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, the Promotion Conference for Major Cultural Industry Projects of Sichuan was held at Shenzhen World Exhibition &Convention Center. The conference released a list of investment opportunities for major cultural industry projects in Sichuan, covering 157 projects with a total investment of over CNY 130 billion. Meanwhile, 12 projects, including smart reading, intelligent media industry, and large cultural models, were signed on site.

Hungary-China (Sichuan) Cooperation and Exchange Meeting Held

On May 26, the Hungary-China (Sichuan) Cooperation and Exchange Meeting, one of the sub-events of the 20th Western China International Fair (WCIF) this year, was held in Chengdu. The meeting aimed to deepen practical cooperation between the two countries in trade, investment, technology transfer, and other fields, and to promote cooperation between Chinese and Hungarian enterprises. It is reported that the meeting attracted representatives from government departments, enterprises, and business associations of both countries. Seventeen Hungarian companies showcased technologies and products in agriculture, healthcare, environmental protection, new energy, electronic industry, food, and beverages, engaging in in-depth exchanges with local Sichuan enterprises.

Multinational Corporations' Investment Symposium for Sichuan (Italy Session) Held in Chengdu

On May 26, the Multinational Corporations' Investment Symposium for Sichuan (Italy Session), one of the sub-events of the 20th WCIF this year, was held in Chengdu. Many attending Italian business representatives expressed optimism about the development potential of western China and actively sought cooperation opportunities. It is reported that the symposium focused on exchanges and cooperation between Sichuan and Italy in equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, food and beverages, and other fields, with over 30 enterprises from Sichuan and Italy participating.

20th WCIF Concludes With 416 Investment Projects Signed

On May 29, the 20th WCIF concluded. Western China signed 416 investment cooperation projects with domestic and international investors, totaling CNY 354.3 billion. Based on regional needs, companies from various countries highlighted their characteristic advantageous industries, strategic emerging industries, major infrastructure, and key reform areas, launching over 2,200 investment cooperation projects for external promotion, with investment exceeding CNY 3.7 trillion.
