Guangyuan Holds Energy and Chemical Industry Investment Promotion Conference in Shanghai
Recently, Guangyuan City held an energy and chemical industry investment promotion conference in Shanghai. Representatives from 35 enterprises and institutions, including DuPont and Sinochem, attended the event. Cai Yujie, Director of the Sichuan Provincial Government Office in Shanghai, delivered a speech, noting that Sichuan is experiencing a golden period of high-quality development amid overlapping strategic opportunities. As the "Northern Gateway" of Sichuan, Guangyuan boasts strong advantages in transportation, mineral resources, industrial foundation, and industrial park platforms. Notably, the Wangcang Jiachuan Chemical Industrial Park, leveraging resources such as natural gas, coal, and vanadium, is actively building a "coal-coking-chemicals" industrial cluster with immense development potential. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Office will collaborate with cities and prefectures to enhance services, foster a favorable business environment, and provide robust support for enterprises investing in Sichuan.

Located in Zhongzan Town, Batang County, Ganzi Prefecture, the project covers approximately 25,000 acres and is a pioneering initiative of the Jinsha River Upper Reach Clean Energy Base, a key national "14th Five-Year Plan" project. It is expected to achieve full-capacity grid connection by the end of 2025. Once operational, it will supply 2.1 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 1.62 million tons.
