Sichuan Private Enterprises' Import and Export Volume Hits Record High in 2024, Reaching CNY 442.77 Billion

In 2024, the total import and export volume of private enterprises in Sichuan reached CNY 442.77 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%. According to data from Chengdu Customs, the total import and export volume of private enterprises in Sichuan hit a new historical high last year. In recent years, the private economy has become a crucial force supporting half of Sichuan's foreign trade. Last year, the number of private enterprises in Sichuan with actual import and export performance exceeded 8,000, an increase of 11.6% year-on-year. The export of self-owned brand products by private enterprises remained stable, and their core competitiveness in foreign trade continued to improve.

New China-Europe Freight Train Launched: Neptune Logistics Premium Line from Chengdu to Minsk

Recently, the China-Europe freight train (Chengdu-Minsk) under the Neptune Logistics premium line departed from Chengdu International Railway Port for the first time. The train carried goods such as electric oven kits and sprayers, exited via the Khorgos Port, and is expected to arrive in Minsk, Belarus, in about 10 days. In recent years, leveraging the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Asia-Europe Land-Sea Express Channel, Neptune Logistics has seen steady growth in its business scale in Chengdu. Since the beginning of this year, Neptune Logistics has dispatched 16 trains from Chengdu, with shipment volume increasing by 45% compared to the same period last year.

Sichuan Province Successfully Holds On-Site Promotion Event for Major Projects in Q1 2025

Recently, Sichuan Province successfully held the on-site promotion event for major projects in the first quarter of 2025. A total of 2,956 major projects were promoted on-site, with a planned total investment of CNY 1.13 trillion, covering infrastructure, innovation and industrial development, and social and livelihood sectors. The main venue of the event was set at the construction site of the Zhongfa Tianxin Light Aviation Engine R&D and Production Base in Chongzhou, Chengdu, while related activities were simultaneously held in 20 other cities (prefectures).

Deyang Kicks Off 116 Projects with Total Investment of CNY 82.9 Billion

Recently, the Deyang branch venue of Sichuan Province's 2025 first-quarter major project promotion event was held in Guanghan, Deyang. A total of 116 projects participated in the event, with a total investment of CNY 82.9 billion, covering fields such as large-scale scientific facilities, infrastructure, social and livelihood projects, and real estate. Among the 116 projects, 48 are industrial and large-scale scientific facility projects, accounting for over 40% of the total, making them the highlight of this concentrated commencement. Upon completion and operation, these projects will help Deyang accelerate its efforts to build a world-class clean energy equipment manufacturing base.
